Artlando 2016!

artlando2016 So happy to be safe at home this evening after #Artlando was cut short sue to a severe lightening storm. Thinking the storm would pass quickly, many artists chose not to break down right away. The result was a terrifying experience of artists hiding out under their tents for the duration of the inclement weather, and hoping that lighting would not strike.

Prior to the unfortante evening storms, Artlando 2016 went off without a hitch. Warm weather with a nice gentle breeze, live performances, delicious coffee and ART mania took place. Can’t wait to do it again next year…but maybe without the lightening and rain. 🙂

#PaintStrong Submission

My submission for the #PaintStrong exhibition, Color Study: Unity and Love. These will be on display in the Downtown Orlando Library until October. Over 250 artists created and donated a piece of art to remember and honor the victims of Pulse. <3

Art Market at Orlando’s Newest Brewery

Love art, beer and/or food? Starting this Sunday, Orlando’s new Ten10 Brewery (located on Virginia Dr in the Mills50 district) will not only offer Sunday morning doughnuts and beer this Sunday, but also a free Art Market! Ten 10 Brewery Art Market, curated by David Charles of Blank Space, will take place every third Sunday from noon to 5pm featuring live music, local art & fabulous eats.

Not much of a beer drinker? Ten10 also offers TBones Root Beer and wine from local Winery, Quantum Leap.

I’ll have a tent set up offering original artwork, prints, jewelry and more! Hope to see you there!

Thornton Park Wine Walk

Thornton Park hosts a Wine + Art Walk every 2nd Thursday of each month, and now that the weather is starting to cool off this is the best time of the year to start enjoying an evening outdoors. Come out and celebrate the community, art and partake in an evening of sights, sounds, food, shopping, and some tasty wine all along the walk!

Plus, starting this month, I’ll have an art tent set up with art, prints, jewelry and more!!! With the holidays coming up, this is also a great way to support your local artists and find handmade gifts, while enjoying an evening out on the town.

$10 gets you a stamp, a glass, and a map of all the locations where you will be greeted with a complimentary pour of wine, beer, or cocktail!

Artlando 2015

Thank you to all who came out to the Artlando 2015 festival (hosted by Orlando Weekly) yesterday. As my first official time showing at an art festival, I can truly say it was an amazing experience and I had a wonderful time meeting and speaking to everyone about my art. I was overwhelmed by the amount of support and love I received from friends, family & the public, you are all so amazing! 

The highlights of my day included having a few mini sized fans who kept coming back to see what I was painting (they were so adorable!), friends and family who came out to support and/or help me, and everyone who took a few minutes to check out my art or converse with me a bit!
